The gates were opened on Michelle’s first starter in December of 2007 at Tampa Bay Downs.

First win came on January 6, 2008 with Heartaches at Tampa Bay for Dogwood Stable.

Galloped Champions ASHADO, WAIT A WHILE, as well as Graded stakes horses LION TAMER, BALTO STAR, FLOWER ALLEY, FRIENDLY ISLAND, MAGNA GRADUATE, OCTAVE, Werblin, WILL HE SHINE,  POLLARD’S VISION, and PURGE.

While assisting Pletcher, Michelle managed trainees MO CUISHLE for her all her wins including the Monmouth Oaks, in addition to portions of the careers of MAGNIFICENT SONG, GO DEPUTY, LAWYER RON, MASTER COMMAND, SHANIKO as they headed into their best races.

Dual Grade 1 SW SCAT DADDY was under her care in Florida during the Winter and early Spring of his 3yo season.

Among the other horses she assisted along the way with Pletcher were Champion ENGLISH CHANNEL and Graded stakes winners COWTOWN CAT, CIRCULAR QUAY, HONEY RYDER, KEYED ENTRY.

Won her first stakes with Elisabeth H. Alexander’s SOUSAPHONE on August 9, 2008 at River Downs in the $50,000 Vivacious H.

PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Kentucky.

Post doctorate and Junior Faculty at Baltimore’s John Hopkins University for 4 ½ years conducting research and clinical trials.

Undergraduate studies at University of Saskatchewan.
