The filly stalked the leaders before moving into 2nd at the head of the stretch and wearing down her last rival for the win for Owner Steven W. Ciccarone. On the same card Woodford Belle (4f by Arch-Tis Me, by Notebook) made her American debut in a 1 3/8 mile allowance on the turf – for Owner: Catesby Clay. Stumbling at the start the filly made her way through rivals to get up in time at the wire. Bred by Runnymede Farm the filly was ridden by Edgar Prado, Johnson Camden and James E. Clay II
